Who we are

 

  • We are an Accident and Medical Centre, privately owned by  Pegasus Health Charitable Ltd. We work closely with the Canterbury District Health Board however we are not a government service.

 

  • We are the only accident and  medical centre in Canterbury that operates 24 Hours a day, 7 days per week – we never close. We have been caring for the people of Canterbury for more than 20 years.
 

 

  • Over 300 GP’s in Canterbury are members of the 24 Hour Surgery and nominate us as their preferred choice for after hours care of their patients.

 

  • Our doctors are a mix of our member GP’s and nine permanent doctors who are specially trained in providing general practice and accident related medical care.

 

  • Our doctors are supported by highly skilled nurses and administrative staff.

 

  • We offer all the after hours medical services you need on one site – with x-ray and urgent pharmacy services in our building.

 

  • We are an ACC accredited accident and medical service provider.
